1940s Ingersoll US Time Corp. Mickey Mouse Watch
You are looking at a beautiful 1940s Ingersoll Mickey Mouse Mechanical watch that still looks and works amazingly after so many years. Ingersoll started its rich history in 1882. In the 30s and 40s, they started producing Disney watches as well, which led to incredible timepieces like this one.
Vintage Mickey Mouse watches that are in working condition are very collectible Disney memorabilia. The case and crown of the watch are made of stainless steel and show very little signs of wearing, which is an exceptional thing given their age.
The dial of the watch matches the incredible preservation of the case and crown. You can see the aging on the overall aspect of the watch in a very natural manner, which gives it that unique retro-vintage elegance. The red color of the Arabic numerals is easily readable, making it a very rare 1940s Ingersoll timepiece in such good condition!

The first Ingersoll watches, called "Universal" were introduced in 1892, supplied by the Waterbury Clock Company. They were, in reality, small spring-driven clocks, about three inches diameter and over one inch thick. These were put into watchcases with pendants that carried bows and crowns like contemporary watches.
