Timex Indiglo Watch Battery Replacement

Please watch the video carefully before attempting to open the watch and to change the battery, in order to avoid making any mistakes. After you've seen the process once, you can follow it step by step to replace your battery.

For this tutorial, we used two Timex Indiglo watch models that work with two different types of battery: a CR2016 and a CR1216 battery model. The battery replacement process is quite similar for the two watches, as you will see in the video.

In order to open the watch and close it, ideally, you should use a watch opening tool and a press. For the positioning of the batteries, you will need a pair of tweezers. You can get these tools, as well as some other very useful ones, by purchasing a basic watchmaking tool kit.
