How to Replace the Watch Battery on a Tissot PRX

Posted by Lavinia Bejan on

Changing the battery of your Tissot PRX watch at home is quite a simple process. And it's a great way to save some money, especially if you like watches and have a bit of interest in their movements and parts.

In order to safely change the battery at home, you will need some basic tools, such as:

- a watch back opening tool (in order to open the case back) - this can also be done with a knife, but we only recommend doing this if you have experience;

- a pair of tweezers

- a watch press (to close the watch properly after the battery replacement)

- a watch battery - for this model you will need a Renata 371

As mentioned above, please watch the full tutorial first, before attempting to open the case back and change the battery yourself. You'll need to have your battery and tools ready, before opening the watch.
